The Senior Associate – Accounting will play a critical role in managing and supporting the clients end-to-end accounting and financial reporting processes. This position involves working closely with clients to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, effective month-end close, compliance with applicable accounting standards, and continuous improvement of accounting processes
• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) process, including vendor invoice accounting, payment processing, and vendor aging analysis.
• Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, including customer invoice generation, revenue recognition, collections follow-up, and receivable aging analysis.
• Process payroll, prepare payroll-related journal entries, and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Manage the fixed asset accounting process, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, maintenance of the fixed asset register, and periodic reconciliations.
• Intercompany accounting & reconciliation.
• Assist in month-end close and financial reporting processes and prepare monthly / quarterly P&L, BS, Cash Flows.
• Regular client interactions and collaborate with client’s external auditor during audit and provide necessary documentation & explanations.
• CMA Qualified/CA – Inter/CMA – Inter
• 2 – 5 years of strong experience in Accounting/Audit
• Working Knowledge of US GAAP/Ind AS/GAAP
• Strong MS – Excel skills
• Experience with accounting softwares such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting platforms will be an advantage
• Exposure to international accounting and financial reporting.
